Almost Maine

Feb 20, 2026 - Mar 1, 2026

“Almost, Maine” is a 2004 American play that explores love and loss in a remote, mythical almost-town called Almost, Maine. The play features nine scenes that explore relationships. We see couples falling in, falling out, and struggling with love. The characters are woven together through the scenes, and the action of the play transcends time. The warmth and humor of the Mainers that populate this story are truly extraordinary.

ALMOST, MAINE was developed by The Cape Cod Theatre Project.

“Mega-hit ALMOST, MAINE lands somewhere between Norman Rockwell and Our Town. Unabashedly unhip. There is no pretense of an edge here—the show offers a sweetness and decency that’s become rare at the theater. At this point, it’s a welcome breath of fresh air.” —New York Post.
